Carman Scan 1 | Overview

The Carman Scan 1 is a hand-held Multi-function Diagnostic Scanner, Oscilloscope, Sensor Simulator and Digital Volt Ohm Meter (DVOM) which includes an oscilloscope waveform reference library. It is designed for the technician who needs a portable tool that goes beyond scanning and offers the facilities of component testing and circuit diagnosis. The Carman Scan is the Factory Scan tool for both Hyundai and Kia and as such provides high level functions that are not available in other aftermarket tools. As in the Carman Scan VG the software in this widely used and highly regarded tool brings OEM capabilities to independent workshops. The Autosearch function and locally developed software are also available in this unit making specific vehicle, model and system identification unnecessary.
