Faultmate | Overview

The Faultmate MSV is a PC based scanner offering dealer level capabilities on Land Rover vehicles. It user friendly interface is Internet browser based making it universally accepted. By focusing on one brand the unit has been developed to handle all of the functions that are provided in the OE diagnostic tool. The unit can be provided in 2 versions – 1 for Single owner / driver use (linked to one model) an another for workshop use that cover anything from one system on one vehicle to all the systems on all models.

Vehicle Model & On board System Coverage

Software modules that run on the Faultmate MSV Vehicle Server are available for just about all of the vehicle systems used in every single model of Land Rover, Rover and MG. Later Can Bus based vehicles such as the Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3 and Freelander 2 are listed as only one module for the entire vehicle, and Hybrid Vehicles such as post 2004 L322 Range Rovers and 2007 Defender that are part Can Bus and part traditional per vehicle system modules, have one software module that covers all vehicle systems connected by the Can Bus while the other systems continue to remain separate.

Please also note that future expansion possibilities for the Faultmate MSV system are by no means restricted to Land Rover, MG or Rover vehicles.
